Membership Terms
Membership Fee Policy
Currently, IADGE implements a no-fee membership system for all institutional members. There are no membership fees, annual dues, or hidden costs associated with membership participation at this stage. The alliance's operations are supported by public welfare investment, industry sponsorships, and project cooperation income—ensuring sustainable, high-quality services for all members.
Regarding future membership fee arrangements, any potential adjustments will be jointly discussed and decided by the alliance's coordination committee and all member institutions. Should there be any changes to the fee policy, members will be notified at least 6 months in advance, with sufficient time for communication and adaptation.
Competition-Related Fees
While membership itself is currently free, participating in specific competitions organized by the alliance (such as the Global Digital Skills Championships, GDSC) requires payment of competition-related fees. These fees cover necessary expenses including competition registration fees, on-site lunch during the competition period, and designated accommodation arrangements (for off-site participants). Detailed fee standards, payment methods, and refund policies will be clearly specified in the official notice of each competition, ensuring transparency and predictability for participating institutions.
Participation & Commitment
To maintain a vibrant and collaborative community, we ask member institutions to:
Designate 1-2 full-time or part-time contact persons for daily communication with the alliance.
Arrange relevant teachers/researchers to participate in at least one of the alliance's specialized working groups (covering talent training, technical research, international exchanges, etc.).
Participate in key annual activities (e.g., Member Representative Meeting, International Digital Game Education Forum) and organize 2-3 teachers per year to join free teacher training programs.
Recommend students to participate in the Global Digital Skills Championships (GDSC) and other competitions (with competition-related fees borne by the participating institution as specified in the competition notice).
Share high-quality teaching resources, research results, or project cases with the alliance community (voluntary and free of charge).
Abide by the alliance's articles of association, uphold its reputation, and actively engage in mutually beneficial cooperation and resource sharing with other members.
